The Plastic Chairs RE by Charles and Ray Eames were the very first industrially made plastic chairs. Their organically shaped seat shells can be combined with a variety of different bases and are today manufactured by Vitra from recycled plastic. They are also optionally available with a seat cushion or full upholstery. With the Eames Plastic Stools RE, the black or chrome-plated four-legged base with a footrest comes in a choice of two heights: medium for standard kitchen counters and high for standing-height tables.
